The current grade is calculated on the work that is present on your blog. You may have missing
items, or vastly incomplete sections of work. Please improve this. If you require help with any of
this work, or need to show me work before re-submitting to check the quality, please do so.

LO1. Understand media products and the institutions that create them.
This carries two grades. P1 and then P2,M1 or D1
Current Grade: Pass (LO1 part A) and Fail (LO1 part B)

LO1 part B
 This is titled LO2 on your blog, please rename it LO1 part B and LO2.
 You need to explain the typical advert production process, without this the
work cannot pass. Once done, the grade should be a Distinction.

LO2. Understand the relationship between media products and their target audience
This is graded either P3, M2 or D2

Current Grade: Pass

 Make sure you explain who you think the audience is for the product you have
looked at. Use the terminology (demographics, socio-economic groups and
psychographics).
 Explain the research you conducted. What was it for?
 You need to ensure that you use the results to find out why and how people engage
with the media product that you have looked at. Aim for a short paragraph for each
question.
 Consider Primary and Secondary audiences. Be more specific and explain in detail
regarding the demographics, socio-economic groups and psychographics.

LO3. Understand how media products are distributed and promoted


This is graded either P4 or fail.

Current Grade: Pass


 Add in images for the advertising of the product. Also consider adding in google
advertising as a whole company. How does it appeal to the audience?

LO4. Understand ethical, legal, and regulatory issues associated with media products
This is graded either P5 or M3.

Current Grade: Pass

 Ensure you explain the issues of representation in the media text.


 How does the legal and ethical issues impact on the audience?
 Explain passive and active audience theories (hyperdermic needle model and uses /
gratifications).
