Oracle Applications Techno-Functional Consultant

The project was an implementation of Oracle Manufacturing modules


belonging to Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11i. The implementation
involved the Order-to-Cash cycle encompassing modules like OM, AR, PO,
AP, GL and Pricing. The project involved extensive design, development
and implementation of custom interfaces and reports.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Worked on the entire lifecycle of the project including Analysis, Design,
Development, Unit Testing, QA Testing support, transition and post-
production go-live support.
 Developed generic PL/SQL packages to build flat files and import data
from legacy systems into Oracle systems. Data conversion was facilitated
using SQL loader.
 Developed Shell-Scripts to perform the initial validations on the incoming
data file and call the respective transactions and Interfaces using
CONCSUB utility.
 Designed and developed custom Workflow for order management.
Customization includes
o TCA (Trading Community Architecture) validations.
o Credit Check and iPayment customization. Un-reserving of
inventory if iPay or Credit Check fails.
o Tight integration of workflow with inventory module using Business
Event System.
o Work flow moves along based on the response type from the task.
 Wrote PL/SQL package to include
Process_orders API code. Customized
the Workflow API packages to call the
API’s.
 Extensively used the Order Import Open Interface to populate the
Order Management base tables.
 Developed and tested a program that sends details of the customer order
to the nearest warehouse. This interface made sure that the shipping
warehouse is in sync with the customer’s order.
 Developed a Bridge (interface) between core financial modules for AP, AR

facility Management and controls. The project’s requirement was data
conversion from historical legacy assets into Oracle order management and
purchasing interface tables. The modules that were effected by the change
process were Order Management, Pricing and Inventory. Also, customizing
Oracle seeded reports was needed.

Primary Responsibilities:
 Analysis, Design of the Database Model , Definition of Data Model and

The project’s primary aim is data conversion from a legacy ERP system into
Oracle Apps. The modules that were effected by data conversion are
distributions and financials. From time to time I was responsible for creating
reports related to shipping.

Primary Responsibilities:
