AFFIDAVIT

I, Carolyn M. Olea-Mabatan, of legal age, Filipino, married and a resident of

Tuguegarao City after having been duly sworn to in accordance with law depose
and state that:

1. That on August 8, 2005, I entered into a marriage with Joseph T. Mabatan.

2. Prior to said marriage, specially when I was in college at Cagayan State

University, I had a homosexual relation with Cherilene Furigay who was my
classmate at that time in college.

3. We were very discreet with our relations considering the stigma attributed to
homosexual relations but a few of our close friends knew about it.

4. Sometime in 2004, I met Joseph Mabatan and because he was very kind our
relations became intimate.

5. I did not disclose to him my past relations because he would not want me to
talk about my past.

6. We got married and eventually I gave birth to our daughter Corinth Sophie
Mabatan.

7. When I went to work in Hongkong as an OFW, I re-established my

communications with Cherilene Furigay through Facebook in January 2013.

8. Coincidentally, she also went to Hongkong to work.

9. At that time, I was having problems with my husband because he made

decisions pertaining to some of our investments without my knowledge like
selling the tricycle we bought without telling me.

10.As my confidante and close friend who listens to my woes, Cherilene and I
became very close and our relations in college was rekindled and we have
become sexually involved since 2015.

11.I had to block my communications with my husband and his family when
they discovered through Facebook about my posts and the posts of Cherilene
Furigay because we shared the same Facebook account.

12.I stopped communicating with my husband and his family since then
because he is bitter and I am admittedly guilty of what I have done to the
family.
13.I am however willing to continue to give monthly support to my daughter.

14.I am executing this Affidavit to attest to the truth of the foregoing and for
whatever legal purpose it may serve.
