Strengths of the lesson:


 Very good monitoring of students with lots of positive feedback
 Excellent interaction with the students – you have a very good relationship with them
 Very enthusiastic manner
 Very good teamwork with Najat
 Lovely idea to go outside and do a hands on activity. How are you going to follow this up?
Are they going to do some writing?
 Relaxed and confident teaching with a very natural approach
 Good insistence to speak in English
 Children well behaved and on task during the writing activity

Areas to develop
 You still need to pay attention to questions – yours are grammatically incorrect and this is
very bad for your students
 The transition to the park needs some work – you need to warn them before they leave the
classroom to go quietly. It was better coming back

Completed lesson plan for every lesson, printed and available to MST and MCT upon request
Ensure lesson plans have sufficient detail to secure effective delivery

You need to include assessment strategies in your lesson plan as noted above as you have a separate
section in your Eportfolio to complete. Make sure you document all assessment strategies, long-term,
mid-term and short-term. Don’t forget this, it is very important.
