This week in Writer’s Workshop, first graders
practiced writing in a variety of ways. Many Save the Date students wrote journal entries about their May 11th: Mitchell School Pajama Day April Break. This was a great review of small May 24th: Early Release moment writing! Throughout the week, some May 28th: NO SCHOOL (Memorial Day) first graders also wrote poems, worked on publishing their reviews, and much more! We are excited to begin our last writing unit, From Scenes to Series, very soon!
