PROJECT BRIEF The Project Civil works, Erection, testing and commissioning of extension works at S00kV Grid Station Jamshoro hereinafter called the ‘project’. Location This substation is located in the Sindh Province of Pakistan. The city of Jamshoro is situated on Indus Highway at a distance of about 153km from Karachi. The Substation is located beside Jamshoro Power House. Location Map is attached herewith as Appendix-I. Objectives & Benefits of the Project The main objective is to be dynamic Power Generation Company that substantially contributes to ‘growth by generating cheaper, safer and reliable electric power to best serve its stockholders interest. The total cost of consultancy fee is Pak Rupees 435.92 million. NTDCL (Client) has assigned the Consultants to carry out Additional Services pertaining to Construction Supervision at 500kV Dadu S/S under Amendment No.1 and further Additional Services for providing Engineering Consultancy Services for Survey Works, Design Review and Construction Supervision for S00KV, 220/132kV T/Lines and Grid Stations including this project under Amendment Nos. 2 & 3 to the existing Contract for Engineering Consultancy Services for 50OkV Transmission Lines 3° Circuit Jamshoro-Moro-Dadu to Rahim Yar Khan (600 km) and Moro Substation Project. Construction of Auto-Transformer, Fire wall foundation and Cable tranches in both SOOkV and 220kV switchyards is slow due to shortage of stee! shuttering plates and skilled shuttering manpower. Installation/grouting of anchor bolt and capping of equipment foundation is slow due to only one crew available at site. LOOK FORWARD NTDC may arrange remaining anchor bolts and steel supports as per requirement. Construction of Auto-Transformer, Fire wall foundation and Cable tranches in both S0OkV and 220kV switchyards is to be expedited by arranging more formwork and skilled shuttering, manpower. Installation/grouting of anchor bolt and capping of equipment foundation must be expedited to achieve the target. Get approval of Control & Power cable schedule immediately.C.
