DECA:
DECA is “An Association of Marketing Students”. I advise the organization at East
High School. We are a group of students that take part in three main areas:

• Marketing and business based competitions

• Social activities and field trips
• Community service projects

Students that have been involved in the past truly were happy that they did. Many
have now pursued careers in this area and were able to travel to places they never
would have gone to otherwise.

Willems Student Marketing Team:

The Willems Student Marketing Team is a joint-venture with the Willems Marketing
offices downtown and students work on real world marketing projects to gain real
experience and earn certificates to showcase their credentials. There are a variety of
experiences and more information regarding this opportunity to ALL students in the
AASD high schools will be shared with you by a presentation format in the near
future.
