Life and Growth

A tree grows from the ground up and so long as it has its roots fixed firmly in the
earth it is likely to thrive. From tiny seed to the beautiful specimens you see
here may have taken hundreds of years and in some cases depending upon the
species of tree even thousands of years; for some of the oldest trees on earth
will never be known or even seen by any human eye simply because they live in
in-accessible places of your earth where human beings have never been enabled
to walk.

Life and growth means many things; in fact for one human life to exist at all;
there must be a kind symbiosis that you and your body and physical mind look
outward into the world that surrounds you. You being an individual will perceive
what you see in a myriad of different ways as colourful as any rainbow and just
as complex as the most difficult scientific mathematical equations could ever
devise. The physical mind is a very complex organ and much of how it works is
still not known on a material level. In part simply because physical science still
looks for physical ways to understand where the mental connections come from
that create memory and learning and everything else in between.

There are electrical impulses which are driven by and created within the physical
vessel and as we all know; without this you could not hope to enjoy an earth life.
But this energy or life force also emanates from another source and this energy
is created outside of the physical vessel and yet is still part of your material
creation. It is found within all that is; it is not simply living organisms which have
this force surrounding them and within them; it binds all things together and is
your universal as whole. You call it magnetism. Spiritual healing uses it and we
are channelling it now. Because like attraction is so important to all we do and it
will become what we are both spiritually and materially within our person as an
individual personality which everyone who knows us have come to see as being
a familiar friend or family member etc., etc., It is our identity. Magnetism is the
key to all life in your universe and a kind of the same or similar energy is very
much at work in the metaphysical world also. You call it Spirit or heaven and
there are many other names given to the soul or discarnate entity depending
upon where you happen to come from. The result is still the same we are alive
and our personality remains the same unless we have developed to learn
something new. Which is what Spiritualism terms as eternal development open
every human soul; instead of eternal damnation should you transgress against
the universal laws; now you have only various stages within which are many
often complex lessons to learn through each and every life time that are your
own personal spiritual evolvement through one level and another. Not at all like
a computer game and yet not dissimilar in some ways. Since you will never pass
on to a new level without having fully understood the one before; simply and
mainly because you will not have learned how to assimilate the correct light or
energy source which facilitates a kind of uplifting or release or energy from the
new level that is intended to make you spiritually stronger and wiser for being
enabled to open your mind, for want of a better word, to something more akin to
the real truth.

The tree has its material feet set very firmly within the earth and from the earth
it draws water up trough its roots as material food. If you were see the tree in a
spiritual sense and say that all that is becomes every part of the same tree then
you actually looking at your whole universe and being one tree an open field.
Put more than one tree in the same field and you begin to see what I’m teaching
here; that there are many different universes each one equally as complex as the
other and yet very different from one another, even a tree of a different species
only highlights my argument here. That being similar never will mean exactly
the same; it may simply mean “made of the same thing” the same components
put together differently makes something new from seemingly nothing like the
big bang effect when scientists say your whole universe was created and so the
beginning of time would seem not to back beyond that spectacular instant and
yet it did and yet time is a man made concept not a spiritual one. Evolution
simply drives itself forward from one point to another as there is no end how can
their have been a beginning? There is only everlasting change and growth.

The tree’s trunk and leaves and thousands of branches stretch outward and ever
upward searching for the sun as it must to take energy from the life giving
warmth which its many parts in turn exchange one chemical for another creating
life as being a circle of cause and effects which means that tree will become very
impressive only if it can continue to compete with its fellow beings and cope with
the ever changing environments that it will face. We must adapt to survive in
any environment and the secret of this is within our very own seeds. Our
children will reap because we pass on to them in many tiny ways; tiny changes
of form which Darwin called Evolution of then Species and whilst this is not
entirely true it is enough for the time being to grasp the concept which is being
developed within you minds at this point in time. That we changeas we grow.
