each month at 6pm at Charleston
Management. We have one open Let’s all work together to
board position. If you are interested make our neighborhood

Architectural Review Information


Before performing exterior work on your home, such as new paint, adding a
shed, removing trees or building a fence, you must seek approval
of the Durant Trails HOA board and the architectural committee.
To apply, print the Architectural Review Application found on the website in
the documents section and follow the instructions for mailing or faxing it to
Charleston Management Co. You may only begin work after you have
received approval. If you have questions about the architectural review

 You must fill out an architectural request before you
perform any exterior work on your home.
 Golf carts are prohibited on city streets unless
they are registered with the city and have proper
lights, turn signals and seatbelts.
 Children under the age of 16 are required by NC law to
wear bicycle helmets.
 The North Regional Landfill Park is open.
 A new elementary school is proposed for Durant Road
near the new park.
 Garbage cans should not be visible from the street and
should only be put out the night before pick-up; this
includes yard waste.

 Yard waste should be put in clear bags or trashcans in


order to be picked up. Please put out only the night
before. This is a city ordinance.

 Dog feces deposited in yards, fields and


trails runs off into streams, rivers and
even into groundwater. This negatively
affects water quality. Dog waste is
estimated to cause between 20-30 % of
stream pollution.

Please clean up after your pet!!
