Profile
In (December 2019) I will graduate from Morgan state university with my Bachelor’s degree in
Physical Education with a concentration of a preparatory orientation to the field of Physical
Therapy. I am learning various skills on different disabilities and the multiple and proper ways to
care for individuals with the disabilities. I have also had the opportunity to observe and reflect on
the role, possibilities, and considerations of individuals with disabilities and physical activity. I
have also learned to critically dissect movement into component parts to prepare individuals with
disabilities to break down movements specifically to meet the differentiated needs of
participants. I have had the opportunity to work with individuals in group homes that have one or
more physical or developmental disability at Richcroft Inc and Northern Nursing home. In
addition to hands on and communication skills I am also certified to administer medication to the
individuals. I am a task and goal oriented individual who is also compassionate, dedicated and
collaborative. I have received positive feedback from my supervisors as being hardworking and
reliable as well as my commitment to learn and further my knowledge in every opportunity
presented to me. As a future Physical Therapist and aspiring Rehabilitation Aid/ Physical
therapist Aide and or Intern, my hopes are to work in a setting that embraces challenges,
provides leaning opportunities and ensures patient centered care. Thank you for giving my
resume a careful consideration. I am looking forward to meeting with you soon to consider
possible employment or internship.
