We arrived on the
Big Island of Hawaii
on Tuesday the 24th of
August at 11:45am.

HELLO FROM HAWAII

Hello family, and friends! The last five weeks have been super exciting, and super busy. God has done great
things in helping us get here and His Spirit is definitely moving in Hawaii.

We arrived at the Kona airport on the Big
Island of Hawaii on Tuesday the 24th of August
at 11:45 am. I have an uncle and aunt that live
here who I haven’t seen in about 15 years, and
it’s been nice to reconnect with him as well as
with family I’ve never
met. The Sabbath of
the 28th was a big
Sabbath here on the
Island since it was a
convocation
Sabbath. There are
seven Seventh-day
Adventist churches here on the Island and all of
them met at the church in Hilo on the east side
of the island. Taj Pacleb gave his last two
messages that Sabbath finishing a week long
revival that had the church packed every single
night of the week. 12 members came forward for
baptism and re-baptism, and several were
asking their pastor how they could learn to give
Bible studies and do more for the Lord. Truly our
arriving at this time was providential!
The people here have greeted us with lots
of aloha (love), warmth, and fruit. God has been
unfolding to my mind broader evangelistic plans
than we were anticipating. Instead of only
holding a Bible study training class like we were
originally planning, He has impressed me to
walk the church through an entire cycle of
evangelism. The vision that God has been
impressing me with for awhile is that all our
churches need to be on church-based church-
run evangelistic programs where the members
do all the work and the church is always in some

they are totally on board with these
principals and are very excited to head in this
direction. They have already accepted an
evangelism calender with all seven phases of
the evangelistic cycle plotted out on it,
Revival, Training, Pre-Work, Evangelistic
Meeting, Reaping Week, Preserving the
Harvest, and Repeat. There seems to be a

on our behalf. Thanks again to all those who
helped us move and helped make it possible
to come over here. We love and miss you all
very much.

we are here. Last Sabbath (the 4th) I We love the food here.
preached and shared my testimony, then
gave a short Bible study on the importance
of evangelism. I also advertised, through a
bulletin insert, the Bible worker training class
which we will be conducting, and made an
appeal at the end of my message for
members to join it. The outcome was
overwhelming. 50 members want to be a
part of the class and learn how to give BIble
studies and lead people to Jesus. Amazing -
Praise the Lord!
One of the elders here, Uncle Bill as
everyone calls him, hosts a radio show twice
a week on the local christian radio station.
So far we have been on twice talking about
the importance of evangelism and having a
regular devotional life. God has blessed, the
shows have been great, and so far the feed
back is very positive.
Aside from all our busy evangelistic
endeavors here, we have also been enjoying
the water, fruit, and beautiful scenery. It rains
every day here, and the fruit it abundant.
This reminds me of how we need to call for Praise the
the presence of God’s Spirit by prayer, and Opened Doors
Lord for tropical
