Rules & Regulations for Audio Visual Department

 AVD shall be booked by Learning Coordinator (LC) or Academic Coordinator (AC); in case
respective LC is not available.
 LC/AC must make sure that the AVD member makes note of their booking and resource
requirement on the booking sheet placed inside AVD
 Booking of AVD or any resource or assistance will only be accepted if requested 1 week in advance
 Once booked, LC/Teacher must coordinate with AVD members for content development/research
and confirmation of content 1 day in advance of the booking
 Incase content is arranged by LC/Teachers then it is to be ensured that the same is delivered to
AVD member and checked on AVD computer/laptop 1 day prior to booked day. AVD will not be
responsible if content is delivered on the same day and incurs a technical issue
 AVD booking can be cancelled by respective LC at 1-day prior notice. Class/section will be
penalized for 1 month if the booking is either cancelled without notice or class doesn’t arrive on
the booked day.
 Respective teachers/LC shall be responsible to maintain discipline amongst class students in AVD
premises. In case of noncompliance, HT will be directly reported
 Resource booking for weekend classes like Waaz or events that require use of portable projector
and speakers, AVD must be informed 1 week prior to the class/event
 AVD reserves the right to decline requests for use of portable equipment; provided that STEP
room or AVD is available and can accommodate the number of participants.
