Seminar Title: Outreach Program

Outreach Program Overview

This program was conducted at Taguig City. We were assigned to conduct
educational program for the students of Hansarang Christian Academy to share
important things of what we have learned from our degree. We were divided into
different groups to maximize our time to teach all of the students of HCA.

My Thoughts about the Outreach Program

In my life I’ve learned that true happiness comes from giving. Helping
others along the way makes you evaluate who you are. Being able to help is a
privilege for us students for it teaches us how to become concerned to those who
are in need, it helps us to understand the spirit of compassion and to share what
we have to and abolish selfishness hidden deep within us.
As part of our curriculum, we conducted an Outreach Program at
Hansarang Christian Academy in Taguig City. We organized simple program to
teach the students and share our knowledge of what we have as an ECE
student. In our group we taught them the “Basic electronics Safety and
Consumer Servicing”. We also prepared snacks for them after the program. The
program started with a prayer, asking for God’s presence in the said event.
After the outreach program, I’ve realized that people can search for their
happiness, but me, I didn’t search it, I just enjoy what I am doing and that gives
happiness to me. This program also taught me a lot of good things, contentment
of what I have, care for the people around me, and this makes me realized that
even the little things you do for others have a great impact in their lives.
