PERSUADING AND CONVINCING EXPRESSIONS
The expression used to persuasion and convince in oder can accept our oponnion.
 Persuading
learn some expression to show persuasions
example:
 If I were you I would just stay at home

 Convincing
Learn som expression to convice others
 I assure you, I can do the job well
 I convince you,I’m the right person to do job

Example into dialog expressing of persuading and convincing

Mira :good morning
Mhita :good morning too
Mira :are you busy right now?
Mhita :No , what the matter?
Mira :can you take me shopping right now ? I need to busy some wedding party
Mhita :sure
Mira :do you have any idea where to buy a nice dress
Mhita :you should go to Barbara boutique, it is far from here they hav e huge collections of
dress over t
Over there
Mira :sure,why not ? but first I have to go to bank to withdraw some money
Mhita :of course I ensure you that you will find your perfect dress there
Mira :ok I will prepare to go there
Mhita :ok

The verbs convince and persuade are very similar meaning but there is
adiferrences at the using both of them.
After persuade we used the pattern:
To + infinitive
Example
 I persuade them to stay for another drink
 He persuaded her not to take the job

After convince we cannot used a verb infinitve we say convince someone.

Example:
 She convinced the police that she was telling the truth
 He convinced her that it was the right thing to do

Both of the above sentence would also be correct without ‘that’

 She convinced the police,she was telling the truth

 He convinced her it was the right thing to do
 ADVERB AND ADVERB POSITION
1. ADVERB
Adverb is that used to show verb,adjective, or other adverb.adverb elementary
in making sentence until the sentence hve truth form.general adver position in the sentence or
paraghraf can put on the beginning sentence,middle and the end of sentence.

 The function of adverb

1. Used to show adverb
Example:
 Slowly
He speak very slowly
 Happily
They are play games happily
2. Used to show adjective
Example:
 Humble
Your mother is very humble
 Easy
Learn English language is very fun and easy

a) Adverb of time
Example:
 Finally
Tita finally found a solution to solve her academic problem
 Recently
The children have recently gone to home
 Today
Ritta arrives from Osaka today

b) Adverb of frequency
Example:
 Always
I always arrive in the school on time
c) Adverb of manner
Example:
 Automatically
The toaster will automatically turn of
 Fast
He always drives fast
d) Adverb of modality
Example:
 Certainly
I certainly want to come to my birthday party
 Likely
You will likely regret your decision one day
e) Adverb of degree

 Very
He runs very fast
f) Adverb of place

2. POSITION OF ADVERB
 In the beginning sentence(before subyek)
Example:
 now we will study English
 yesterday she announced that she is quitting her job
 in the middle sentence (between subyek and auxiliary verb and main verb )
example:
 we often study English
 you you should never take unnecesarry risks
adverb in the middle sentence,sentence put on after auxiliary verb if not there auxiliary verb
adverb put on before main verb.
 In the end sentences/( after verb or object)
Example:
 We study english carefully
 he sat down suddenly

example adverb in all position

 then the ship slowly sailed away

adverb usually not put on between verb and direct object but put on after object.
 ADVERB ORDER
Adverb order is arranging word to be sentence which the sentence arrange
from the words that not have double mean or ambigu.the kinds of adverb order that usually
arrange to be one unity in the sentence,such as:
1. adverb of manner
2. adverb of time
3. adverb of place
4. adverb of frequency
5. adverb of purpose

subyek + predikat+ object
the function of adverb order is as method that used to arrange the word until to be a sentence that
not have double mean.
