Purpose : This procedure is used as work instruction for Electrician, Electrical Engineer ,
Desk Engineer , Shift In charge.

Scope : This procedure explains the Effects / Steps to be taken in case of 24 Volt DC Supply
Failure .

Responsibility: Electrician, Electrical Engineer, Desk Engineer, Shift In charge.

Procedure:
 Turbine will trip and EHG output will also go to zero.
 HP/LP control valve will be 100%.
 Boiler will trip on 24V DC fail protection.
 All functional groups will be out.
 AOPs and JOPs will not take start during coasting down.
 GCB will not open and generator motoring will start.
 FCB will not open.
 Turbo supervisory equipments will not available.
 Remote operation of TG drives will not be available.
 Remote operation and control of excitation system will not available.
 SH and RH spray inlet block valves will remain in its previous.
 Hydraulic governor motor control will fail.
 ATRS panel fails.
 Lube oil temperature and controllers will remain stay out.

ACTOINS:

 Trip GCB and FCB from local.

 Try to start EOP and DC JOP from local.
