with one another and how they can be made better to communicate their concerns. Various
methods are used in organizational studies and these include multiple regression, time series to

not just as individuals but as a team as well.

MCKINSEY7S MODEL
This is a management tool designed to analyze and understand the key organizational structures
within a company in order to assess its potential for effective change. The model examines seven
key areas of the company and the relationships of each of these elements to each other. The
elements are grouped into two sub-categories of 'hard elements' and' soft elements' :The hard
elements represent un-shifting company traits, those which are relatively stab e and simple to
define such as company strategy, structure and systems. The soft elements, on the other hand,
represent more complex traits of the company which are influenced by culture, environment and
individuals. These could be shared values, skills, style and staff
STRATEGY
The plan devised to maintain and build competitive advantage over the competition. Strategy is a
plan or course of action in allocating resources to achieve identified goals over time. Unlike
tactic, strategy is well thought and often rehearsed. It transforms the organization from the
present position to the new position described in the objectives, subject to constraints of the
capabilities

Systems are routine processes and procedures followed within the organization to implement the
strategy and to run day-to-day affairs. These processes are mainly deigned to achieve maximum
effectiveness. Traditionally the higher management makes the most decisions .increasingly the
organizations are using innovation and new technology to make decision-making process quicker

STYLE
The company has a leadership style characterized by individual control over all decisions and
little input from group members. Autocratic leaders typically make choices based on their ideas
and judgments and rarely accept advice from followers.
AUTOCRATIC leadership style is followed in shivaganga. Employees are very cooperative with
their co-workers.
An autocratic leadership style is most effective and appropriate when the nature of work
requires a strong centralized control, with the leader responsible for giving detailed orders and
instructions and taking the responsibility for decisions.
STAFF
Staffs are the personal categories within the organization such as engineers, sales executive, sales
manager and many other staffs which are required to run the organization and they put more
emphasis on hiring the best staff to run the company smoothly and also to prevail in the market
as they are many competitors in the market.

Shared values are organizational values that are usually developed by the organization's
leadership and then adopted by the other members of the organization.
The values are shared and followed by all members of the organization when acting on behalf of
