Third lesson plan reflection

Overall aim and context of the lesson:

Teaching the students, new words from “ee” sound of words.

discuss one aspect that you feel you did very well. Try to analyse why you think it worked well and
what hints you would share with other teachers about the successful strategy/
resource/activity/management style etc.
Positive aspect of the lesson:

The positive aspect that I did very well in is presenting the lesson for the students, because I used the
multimedia in it, I start it with a video of “ee” sound words, then I present the power point presentation
for the students, which is include a clear pictures of the words, slides animations, words and pictures
transitions and audio of the new words, so all of these things made the students interested and
engaged with the new lesson.

why it occurred and what action you intend to take to be more successful in the next lesson.
Require attention:

I was focusing on the higher level group students while I am teaching, so when I was asking I didn’t
give the middle and low students a chance to answer the questions, so in the end of the lesson I found
that there are some students didn’t know the difference between the new words or how to pronounce
them, such as “knee” word, when I asked the student he read “knee” word, he was reading the K
sound.

Personal focus for next lesson:

For next lesson I am going to differentiate between the students while I am teaching, to make sure that
all the students are achieving the aim of the lesson, and i have to be fair in teaching because all of the
students came to the school to get the knowledge and improve their skill, even they have different
abilities.
Classroom management:

Classroom management, and it was very good because I used the candy strategy which is, telling the
students if you are listening to the teacher’s instructions you will get a candy sticker on your own
sticker jar that hanged on the wall, if you are not listening to the teacher instructions the teacher will
take off one of your candies, so this strategy helped me to manage the students behaviours in the
class, also it a perfect strategy which is lit the teacher take an actions without disturbing the teaching
environment.
