There are millions of plants and animals living in the
sea. Most of the plants and animals living in the oceans are
extremely small and float near the surface of the water in their
thousands. They are food for huge numbers of small animals
that also live near the surface. Together, they are all known as
plankton.
Many fish feed on this plankton, including one of the
largest, the whale, shark. Despite their great size, certain whales
live entirely on plankton.
The blue whale is the largest animal ever to live. It
grows to a length of over 100 feet. The humpback whale is a
smaller kind and has long flippers. It can jump right out the
water. The California grey whale makes long migrations every
year-it spends the summer feeding in the Artic but swims south
to the warmer waters off the coast of Mexico in the winter. The
females give birth in the shallow, warm water there.
Many of the fish in the sea may be eaten by other meat-
eaters. Sharks, for example, are some of the fastest hunters,
although not all of them eat other fish.
Deep down in the oceans live many strange fish. It is so
dark down there that many of these fish have “light” on them,
which are used for attracting smaller fish for the larger ones to
eat.
Jellyfish are peculiar-looking creatures ranging in size
from a fraction of an inch to 6 feet across. They don’t really
swim but drift in the currents of the open oceans. Although they
contain a powerful sting, they are often eaten by turtles. Turtles
are reptiles that spend most of their eggs on sandy beaches.

As President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono visited the
ravaged west coast Aceh town of Meulaboh on Saturday, life in
the provincial capital of Banda Aceh slowly returned to normal
with the start of trading activities in its traditional markets.
Susilo went to Meulaboh, one of a few cities that remained
isolated from the outside world, to ensure that aid would
continue pouring into the tsunami-hit region despite a myriad of
problems in distribution. He ordered the military to accelerate
aid distribution across Aceh.
“Immediately channel this aid. Logistical assistance must be
severed.” Susilo told soldiers deployed for the relief effort. The
government has estimated that only 25 percent of buildings in
Meulaboh, which lies close to the epicenter of Sunday’s 9.0
magnitude quake that generated the tsunami, are still standing.
In Banda Aceh, six days after the tidal wave swept across
the coastal city, one of the largest traditional markets, Lamboro,
started to breathe new life into the town as vendors opened their
stalls, offering the most accessible goods to customers.
“Although the tidal waves ruined parts of my shop, some of
the goods inside were spared. With the remaining items I can
resume business,” one vendor, Hadi was quoted by Antara as
saying. Various reports said a large number of vendors were
selling fresh vegetables and fruit.

One day, two friends, Vinod and Sanjay, were walking
in the woods. They saw a man running away from the bush,
alarmed. “Why are you so frightened?” they asked. “I saw the
man killer in the bush over there,” he said. His words scared
them, “Do you mean a tiger?” they asked. “No,” replied the
man, who was a philosopher. “It’s more dangerous than a tiger.”
It came out when I was uprooting some herbs.” “What is it?”

philosopher. “Is it in that bush?” they asked. “Yes, it is,” the
philosopher said, and fled.
The two companions hurried to the bush and found a

foolish of the philosopher to call this bar of gold the man killer!”
remarked Sanjay.
“Let’s plan what we should do with this gold now,”
said Vinod. “It’s not safe to return to our village carrying it in
broad daylight. Let’s wait till nightfall, then find a goldsmith
and ask him to divide the gold between us. Now if you sit here
guarding the treasure, I will go and bring some food.”
Sanjay readily agreed. When his friends had left, he
though to himself, “Only if I had come alone, all this gold would
have been mine. I have a large family to provide for. As soon as
Vinod returns, I will kill him with my knife and take all the
gold.” He sharpened his knife and waited for his companion.
Now Vinod too had a wicked idea. “I will mix some
poison in his food “, he thought, “then I will have all the gold
for my self”. And so he mixed poison in the food meant for his
friend.
As sons as Vinod returned, Sanjay stabbed him to
death. Then, being hungry, he ate the poisoned food. After a
while he began to writhe in pain. “How true the philosopher’s
words are!” we whispered as he breathed his last.

programs. However, the TV rating shows that an infotainment

People who fond of infotainment programs believe that the
contents of infotainment program are based of the fact and
celebrities to do positive things in public. They also believe that
journalists of these programs always try to find the truth behind
the gossip. Moreover, celebrities need such programs to promote
their profile. These programs give a room for mutual needs:

Nevertheless, there also some people who strongly object to
the good point of infotainment programs. They say that

The worst thing is, sometimes, the stories are reported without

Soils with a pH of less 7.0 are acid. The lower the pH,
the more acid the soil. When soil pH falls below 5.5, plant grow
is affected. Crop yields decrease, reducing productivity.
Soils provide water and nutrients for plant growth and

Therefore, liming soil can reverse the effects of acid soil on
plants and return a paddock to productivity.
