1 E Para 1.1.2 – Para mentions “AC Split units and unit heaters”. This equipment does not apply as it is not Substation High Voltage related.
2 E Para 1.1.11 – The OLTC should have its own dedicated section (Section 10?) as it requires inspection and testing similar to other equipment. Connections, grounding,
oil levels, gauges, etc all need to be checked before operation of the OLTC.
3 E Para 1.2.A – Para references Table No.1 and at the end of the section reference it in a Note. Believe these should reference Table No.5 as that is for transformers.
4 E Para 1.2.E – The 2nd sentence before the steps reads “Oil Di-electrical tester will be sed.” What is “sed”? Is this the manufacturer of the testing equipment?
5 E Para 1.2.F – Electrical Tests para references Table No.1 and at the end of the section reference it in a Note. Believe these should reference Table No.5 as that is for
transformers.
6 E Para 1.2.F – The OLTC is similar to a transformer in components. For transformers, tests such as power factor, turns ratio, oil tests are completed. These same test
should be completed on the OLTC to ensure acceptability.
7 E Para 2.1.D – The figure provided does not apply to the current method being utilized. The figure is used for the voltage method. This should be removed or replaced with
a diagram for the tester being utilized.
8 E Para 2.2.A - Para references Table No.1 and at the end of the section reference it in a Note in addition to Table-No.5. Believe these should reference only Table No.5 as
that is for transformers.
