*Monologue*

Was it worth it, choosing chemistry over the rest of the branch of physical science? It was hard,
but… But I could not have done it differently. One cannot deny physical science is meant to give us
deeper understanding on things that covers our daily life; chemistry, physics, meteorology,
astronomy and geology. But you focused on chemistry, chemistry that tackles things such as
technology, classes and properties of matter, types and classification of atoms and many more. And
you, my great Core-co, were meant to be honoured for reminding us how important to understand
this physcie! . . . We are artists . . . We cannot belong to chemistry alone. The physical science is our
family!”

*Micell holds his guitar and sings*

AIRNESTO DOES HIS MONOLOGUE
 I... I... I didn’t do anything. All I wanted was to know everything about science. And Vector
promised to be my partner! He promised to be with me and teach me everything he knows. But
he wanted to leave. I didn’t know what to do at that time. I don’t even know how I will
understand chemistry without him. I got scared of me being alone so I tried to stop him.
*AUDIENCE CONTINUES TO BOO HIM WHILE THROWING STUFF AT THE STAGE*
Listen to me! I’m telling the truth. He wouldn’t even let me copy his notes. And what I did was
the only way for me to succeed. And the song, we did it together! Believe me! We wrote it for all
of you who are having a hard time with science.

Dialogue of VECTOR, IMELTA AND CORE-CO

Imelta: Welcome home, my Core-co! (hugs)
Core-co: Thank you, Mama Imelta. I missed you so much. Thank you for guiding me back there. I
wouldn’t be where I am now if it wasn’t because of you.
Vector: How about welcoming me home too, my love? (Jokingly says to Imelta with a wide smile
and eyewink)
Imelta: And who told you I would do that? (Tap on the head while eyebrows are raised)
Core-co: My heart is so happy seeing the both of you together. It makes me feel great knowing I’ve
left our family with knowledge and memories about chemistry that they will surely treasure for the
rest of their lives.
Imelta: I’m proud of you, Core-co. I’m sure Micell will teach his children and grandchildren that song
you learned from your father. It’s something our family could be known of as our heritage and
legacy.
Vector: That’s my Core-co. Of course, she got it from her awesome father!
(THE THREE OF THEM LAUGH AND HUGS EACH OTHER.)
Vector: It’s chemistry
Imelta: In the future we’ll still see
Core-co: Technology, each class consist a kind of three

MICELL’S MONOLOGUE

And that was it. Mama Core-co found herself overjoyed with Papa Vector and Mama Imelta
in the Land of the Dead. They were very pleased together with our other relatives. And us? We
remain here continuously learning and growing. We still exist in this world of physical science
revolving around the changes and advances of time. We endure this life with the remembrance
of the past, and use it as our strength to overcome our own challenges.

*Everyone slowly walks to their positions in the tarpaulin*

Those were actually the last words of my Mama Core-co – to never give up and bring with
us her lessons about science. She was a symbol of true love and dedication that made our family
strong and complete. She always appreciates even the smallest of things and incorporates the
values of a good observer. And that is something we could bring up to the next generations.
