SATISFACTION

Importance of satisfaction of seminars……

In the study of Katharaki, Prachalias, Linardakis & Kioulafas (2009), the participants mentioned
that the seminar gave them the knowledge that is essential to their profession and also helped in their
skill development. The participants satisfaction proved that their demands were met that lead them to
become more willing to attend more of the lifelong-learning seminars. Also in the study of Buxton, Burns
& De Muth, the level of satisfaction of the participants in the seminar were shown a significant result and
that they were very satisfied regarding the seminar’s subject matter, the value and depth of the content,

Seminar 1983 Preparation for a technical seminar begins ?accountid=31259
by outlining material and planning
appropriately sized topic segments. The
nature of the subject indicates the topical
organization. The presentations should be
thoroughly familiar to the speakers and
suited to audience needs. Possible formats
for a seminar include lecture, small-group
discussion, role playing, andr films. Time for
audience questions should always be
included. Technical seminars can be
enhanced by providing comfortable
conditions for the audience. For example,
the room should be large enough for each
attendee to have adequate table top space.
All equipment should be rechecked just
before the seminar begins. Evaluation
mechanisms may also be included in the
program to obtain feedback on the seminar.
