This document summarises the key features of the insurance policy for PE19 6JS. It is not tailored to individual needs and so may not provide all

What is this type of insurance?
Buildings Insurance covers damage to your garage, outbuildings, fixtures and fittings, and the main structure of your home such as walls or roof in
the event of storm, flood, fire, escape of water, or subsidence. If you would like cover for the things you keep in your home like furniture, TVs and
personal belongings in the event of theft, fire or flood or escape of water you would need to arrange Contents Insurance cover.

Are there any restrictions on cover?


Buildings and Contents cover
Limits: Limits apply to all sections of your policy. We will not pay more than the 'Unspecified item limit' for high risk items not listed
individually on your Home Policy Schedule. High risk items are defined in your policy booklet
Unoccupancy: The 30 days limit is reduced to 5 days between November and March unless whilst away you keep your home
constantly heated to a minimum of 12°C or your water supply is turned off at the mains and the water system is drained. If you do
not do either of these, your claim settlement could be affected.
Matching Suites: We will treat an individual item from a matching set of items as a single item. We will only pay for items that are
lost or damaged but not for the other pieces of the set or suite which are not damaged or lost.
Extra Conditions: Such as Minimum security requirements (use of your locks and security devices) may apply. If applicable, these
will appear on your policy documents. If you do not adhere to Extra Conditions it could affect your claim settlement.
Excesses: We won't cover the first portion of any claim that you agree to pay (the excess). The standard policy excess is £100,
some claim causes have a higher excess such as Subsidence and Escape of water.

Where am I covered?
We cover homes in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
We cover pedal cycles worth up to £350 anywhere in the world if Contents Cover is purchased.
Optional cover: For personal possessions, specified bikes and specified items you have to cover away from home, we will cover you
anywhere in the world.
What are my obligations?
● You must inform us without delay if any information on your Home Proposal Confirmation or Policy Schedule is incorrect or
changes.
● You must tell us about changes to your property, its use and its occupants. Full details can be found in your policy documents.
● You must maintain your property in a good state of repair and take care to prevent any accidents, loss, damage or injury. If a loss
does occur you must take action to prevent further loss or damage if it is safe to do so.

When and how do I pay?


You can pay for your insurance with one lump sum with a debit/credit card. If eligible, you can pay in monthly instalments by Direct Debit.
Monthly instalments will apply for the duration of the policy.

When does the cover start and end?


Your cover will start at 00:00 on the 10/05/2018 and end at 00:01 on the 10/05/2019. Your policy may be renewed and payment taken unless
you contact us to stop it before the renewal date. We will contact you before your renewal date and before taking payment to confirm your
renewal terms.

How do I cancel the contract?


You can cancel at any time by calling us on 0333 220 2003 or by writing to us at Ty Admiral, David Street, Cardiff, CF10 2AA. Your
cancellation will be subject to the relevant cancellation fee.
