1. Respiratory distress is a common finding
in clients diagnosed with lung cancer. As
the tumor grows and takes up more
space or blocks air movement, the client
may need to be taught positioning for
lung expansion. The administration of
oxygen will help the client to use the
lung capacity that is available to get
