We have an embedded Fiori within our S4 1709

We've activated the "Manage Recipes" app and are able to access it by clicking on the tile in the Launchpad
with no issues

But once inside the app, we try to click on the "+" button on the right side of the app to "Create Object" and
we only get the following error: "Navigation to this application is not supported."

This is critical for the company, as we can not proceed with deployment of solution for users (Recipe
Development can only be accessed through either NWBC, which is not in scope for us, and Fiori Apps)

voice telling something in spanish. (maybe the dialled number does not exist.)

Could you please provide a phone number, on which you can be reached ?

It is a requirement of the priority Very High according to attached note 67739 .

"What the customer must do to ensure prompt processing of incidents with the priority "very high":

Dear Customer,

Could you check the HTTP connection to your Launchpad? When connecting to your system it returns with
the following error message:

s14709: route permission denied (sapserv2.sap-ag.de to s14709.dynamicplm.com, 8001)

I would also have some additional questions:

With which user should I log on to the Launchpad? The SAP_OSS user does not seem to contain any
PFCG roles which contain a catalog/group.
It also seems that the standard SAP_BR_RECIPE_DEVELOPER PFCG role is not used. Are you using
a custom PFCG role and or catalogs?
The 'Create' link points to Web Dynpro application. Does other Web Dynpro applications work? There
are some prerequisities which are needed to set up navigation to SAPGUI/Web Dynpro based
applications, like replication of app descriptors from backend system:

We checked to the WD requirements you've mentioned and they seem to be ok now

Customized roles are exact copies from standard ones, so there should be no issues there. But it's worth the
try. Will check on those

The test user for launchpad is:

Hi Jesse,

I was able to log in to your system and found two issues with the configuration:

1) If you open catalog 'SAP_PLM_BC_RECIPE_MAINT' (Recipe Development - Recipes) Launchpad
designer and go to target mappings you will see that #Recipe-create action was modified. This is indicated
by the fact that the 'Reference' flag is not set. It looks like that the system alias has been changed from
S4PLM to LOCAL. Could you revert this to the original value?

2) On why none of the PLM navigations work to Web Dynpro apps (i.e. you click on 'Multi Formula Editor' you
just land on an empty screen). The system aliases which I just mentioned in above comment are used to
resolve navigation targets (~ figure out the absolute part of the URI). For S4PLM this does not seem to be set
up in your system (but S4PPM is for example, maybe there was just a typo?).

Could you go set this up for S4PLM as well? It is done in the following customizing node:

SAP NetWeaver -> SAP Gateway -> OData Channel -> Configuration -> Connection Settings -> SAP
Gateway to SAP System -> Manage SAP System Aliases.

This two adjustments should solve the issue (you can just do 2) and every non-modified target mapping will
work, except for changed one (S4PLM <-> LOCAL).
