“not at all” or put NA (not applicable)
A. How much did your mentor help? 6
B. Have others helped you as well? 2
C. Did the task analysis help you plan your project? 5
D. Would you recommend your project area for future seniors? 7
E. Please explain your answer in letter “D.”
 If a future senior were to build a makeup vanity for their senior project they should start it
as early as they can. They should also do a lot of planning and figure everything out
before actually starting their project.
8. Would you feel threatened to show your project to an expert for evaluation?

 Maybe, because I believe from the research I have done in my paper that it is not how a
professional would have done it.

9. List three things you now know after completing this project.

1. I now know how to properly wire lights

2. I now know how to properly install lights into a mirror.

3. Patience

10. List any personal satisfaction or knowledge you gained from this experience.

1. I now have a better place to do my makeup

2. I now know how to properly wire lights

3. Patience

11. What comments about your project have you heard from students, parents, teachers, or
community members? For example: “I never knew you knew so much about motors.”

1. Mom - “See what you can do when you put your mind to it”

2. Desirae- “I’m impressed you followed through”

12. Describe what risk(s) you took in completing this project. Consider not only a physical
risk, but an emotional or intellectual challenge.
 A risk I took in completing this project was waiting till February to actually pick my
project and start planning for it. Since I waited so long to start preparing for my project it
has been hard to try to plan my time to be able to work on it and get it done. Another risk
I have taken is having to spend some of my own money on buying some of the supplies
and having to budget my money makes it hard to buy the supplies needed.

13. List or describe any problems you encountered.

 A problem I encountered during my project was once I received the drawers and the table
top, I had noticed that the table top was broken. Since the table top was cracked I had to
go to the cities and exchange it for a different table top. Another problem I have
encountered during my project was finding the time to work on my project.

14. Is your project original or creative in any way? If yes, explain how.
 I believe once my project is finished exactly how I want it; it will be creative.

15. How do you feel about having your paper, project, and evaluation form on file as a model
for next year’s students? Explain why or why not.
 I feel like my paper is a good paper that could be used as an example for future students.
I feel like my project isn’t the best project to be used as an example for future students
unless they have the time to be able to work on it.

16. If given the opportunity, what would you do differently now that you speak from
experience?
 I would put more planning into my senior project. I also wouldn’t wait until second
semester to start my project.

17. Beyond the project itself, what did you learn about yourself?
 I learned that even though I think I can multitask and manage time to do things that I
work a lot that it was hard to find the time to still do schoolwork and work on my senior
project.

18. What grade would you give yourself for your project? Justify your grade in about 25 words.

My grade: B

Justification for my grade:

The reason I would give myself a B is because even though I waited until second semester to
start my project I have put time and effort into this project despite having to find time to work on
it.
