I DON’T SEE ANYTHING THAT THE NAACP DOES? WHY SHOULD I JOIN OR PARTICIPATE?

ANY DIFFERENCE THEY MAKE? THEY JUST WANT MY MONEY?
IS THIS YOU?

DOES THE WANT

TO BE IN NAME ONLY? OR LET IT BE WRITTEN IN
HISTORY THAT WE MADE A DIFFERENCE? AND IT TOOK MANY, TO GET
WHATEVER EQUAL RIGHTS WE ENJOY TODAY. BUT ONE PERSON CAN MAKE A
DIFFERENCE.

AT PRESENT, WE HAVE A BICYCLE WITH A FRAME AND WHEELS. WE

EVEN HAVE WAITING RIDERS. BUT WE NEED CHAINS AND PEDALS TO REALLY
MAKE IT MOVE. COMMITTEES ARE OUR CHAIN AND PEDALS.

A branch consists of officers and committees. We need at least (3) members in

each in each to be considered a committee. If you have any feelings, concerns or
efforts that are dear to you, please volunteer to be on that committee. Some
committees only need a Chair Person.

The Chair would get his/her committee together to work on their committees
goals. Then report to the executive committee (your officers i.e. pres., vice, sec.
etc.) of your progress with a written, typed or email result of efforts. Your results
or ongoing work is then reported to the general monthly meeting.

Openings in the following committees:

 Membership - Chair + least two more members

 Freedom Fund – Chair + welcome more members
 Press & Publicity – welcome more members
 Education – welcome more members
 Legal Redress – Chair + at least two more members
 Political Action – Chair + at least two more members
…..to name a few
