General Information
The Double Block & Bleed “Type V” is fully approved to
supply many of the worlds oil majors. With over 10,000
valves of this generic type manufactured by Alco Hi-Tek in
service around the world.
All threads are generated using our in-house CNC machines.

Design Features
● Single piece shaped forging giving excellent grain flow
around the body / flange area for superior strength.
● Fully rod-able design.
● Various seat materials offering a temperature range of
-196°C to +230°C are available.
● Designed in accordance with ASME VIII, ANSI B16.34 /
B16.5, ANSI B31.3, EEMUA 182 and API 6D.
● All stem packings are fully retained to allow removal of
handle whilst maintaining seal.
● Supplied and manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001.

F316 / F316L and ASTM A182 F51 being held for call off at
our suppliers, this reduces the delivery times. Outlets and
vents are all 1/2" NPT as standard, 1/4" and 3/4" are also
available. Butt weld and socket weld outlets available.
● All valves are tested at 1.1 times full seat pressure and
1.5 times full rated shell pressure with gas and or
hydraulic.
● All screwed connections are secured using our unique
cam locking system far stronger than conventional pins.

Application
The "V" type DBB valve is most frequently used on high
pressure static instrument, gauge, isolation, instrument, drain
and take off point applications. This compact design can
offer high savings on cost, space and weight over the more
traditional hook up installation methods of such instruments.
Pipeline stresses and vibration are also reduced dramatically
