AND REGULATIONS
The University grounds are private property, giving the
University the right to take action against violators of the parking
and traffic regulations. Please remember that driving and
parking of a motor vehicle on campus is a privilege, which may
be withdrawn at any time by the Ateneo de Manila University.
The Ateneo de Manila is a pedestrian friendly campus. It is
expected that everyone within the University premises abide by
these rules and regulations.

4. Drivers of the vehicle without the current ADMU gate pass
stickers entering the University must surrender a Driver’s
License upon entering the university premises. Security
guards have the authority to confirm identity of the people
entering the University premises. Using a vehicle once a week
is considered regular usage, hence requires a gatepass sticker
for the vehicle.

6. Motor vehicles (including motorcycles) and bicycles may only
be driven on roadways as sidewalks and path walks are for
pedestrians.

9. Use of cell phones while driving is strictly prohibited.

12. Drivers must follow all traffic and street signs inside the
campus. Alteration, removal and defacing any of the signage
are prohibited.
13. Drivers inside the campus must observe all applicable traffic
rules and ordinances of Quezon City and MMDA in addition
to the rules and regulations of the university.

15. Loading and unloading is allowed at designated areas only.

Parking
1. Parking is allowed only at designated areas. It is strictly
prohibited to park on main roads, driveways, sidewalks, path
walks and loading zones.

All vehicles with Ateneo stickers are allowed to park only at
designated areas. Ateneo stickers are color coded according
to units (Central Administration: Red; Grade School: Yellow
and Orange; Junior High School: Orange; High School: Light
Blue, Loyola Schools: Navy Blue; Affiliate Units: Gray.

Likewise, parking areas bear signages for Administrators,
Faculty/Staff, Students and Visitors.

2. Leaving the engine on while parked is strictly prohibited.
Save gas and save the earth. The university promotes a
clean and green environment; fumes coming from vehicle
would be harmful to health.

3. Overnight parking is strictly prohibited. Cars may be allowed
to park overnight at designated overnight parking areas, only
in cases of emergency and official school functions. Parking
beyond 10 PM at the Northwest and Diversion Car Parks is
also strictly prohibited.
The University is not responsible for any loss or damage to
vehicles parked overnight inside its premises.

4. Cars must be parked properly and may not occupy two parking
slots. Parking in any manner which obstructs the free flow of
vehicles is prohibited. Make sure your car is always within the
space allotted for one car.

6. Leaving your vehicle unlocked while parked is not allowed.
The University is not responsible for any loss and damage to
property inside the vehicle parked within the campus.

The traffic enforcer/personnel designated to enforce
these traffic/parking rules and regulation shall hand a violation
ticket to the driver/pedestrian or will place a violation ticket
on the front windshield on the passenger side of all motor
vehicles/cycles being cited in violation of traffic/parking rules
and regulations. This will serve as proof of legal delivery of the
violation ticket. Non-receipt of the traffic violation does not
invalidate the issuance of the violation ticket. Please settle your
traffic ticket violations immediately.

Persons who receive the violation ticket have the right to
appeal. The written appeal must be submitted to the school
unit where the vehicle is registered within 10 working days from
issuance of violation ticket. The appeal must be submitted to:
