【Abstract(AB)】：
A bagged steeping tea of Fructus Momordicae charantiae for health
promotion is prepared by (1) extracting dried Fructus Momordicae
charantiae with ethanol to obtain extractive solution; (2) collecting
residue, boiling in water, filtering to obtain filtrate, mixing with
above extractive solution, and concentrating to obtain extract; (3)
extracting Semen Momordicae Charantiae with ethanol of different
concentration, filtering the extractive solution, and concentrating
to obtain extract; and (4) mixing above two extracts with dried
Fructus Momordicae charantiae, drying, and packaging. It has summer-
heat removing, algefacient, thirst quenching, heat and toxic
materials clearing away, throat moistening, expectorant, stomach
strengthening, restlessness relieving, qi invigorating, and yang
supporting effects. It can be used for the treatment of
pharyngolaryngitis, bronchitis, gastropathy, and diabetes.
