Ms. Price is currently a student at West Chester University with the objective of attaining a Bachelor’s degree in Early
Grades Education Pre-K – 4 and a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education. As a student, she successfully focuses on
multiple projects by strategically developing innovative ideas to meet deadlines and exceed expectations. She has
over five years of professional experience working with children in the classroom. In conjunction with schoolwork,
she is currently working as an intern at Fern Hill Elementary School. She works closely with learning support, autism
support and regular education teachers to create lesson plans that are specific to different instructional and
behavioral needs. Ms. Price shows professional knowledge, proficiency, and initiative in achieving goals and meeting
tight deadlines. Technology experience includes: Smartboard, IPad and other Apple products, and Microsoft Office
2007 (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Chosen as one of two West Chester University Special Education majors to participate in the Professional
Development School (PDS) partnership with the West Chester Area School District. This collaborative full-time
student teaching internship occurred from August through June, in a K-4th grade elementary school setting,
including participation in all district in-service events, co-planning andco-teaching, spending three full days in the
classroom in the fall and five full days from January through June.

 Co-develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students in a 2nd – 4th grade learning support
classroom
 Differentiated lessons for a variety of instructional and behavioral needs
