HEAT REMOVAL

SYLVA-FLO II SYLVI\-FLO III

The heat from the lamp chamber is drawn into the supply
or return air streams of the Sylva-Flo II units. This re-
sults in outstanding tighting performance by permitting
the lamps to operate closer to their designed operating
temperature.
Utilizes the Pyle-National Multi-Vent Air Handling
System which directs the air into the room in two low
velocity air streams to coalesce and penetrate through
the "used" air and into the occupied zone.
Complete height is only 5/2" when side entry
used. With top entry, overall installed height is approx-
imately 1 1//.

Similar to the Sylva-Flo II excapt that it provides com-
plete separation oi the supply air path from the lamp
chamber.
Also utilizes the low-velocity Pyle-National Multi-

A unique feature of the Sylva-Flo III is its ability to
combine supply air and heat removal in a single unit.
Supply air passes through slots along the side of the door
frame and returned "used" air is removed through lumi-
is nous air intakes at each end of the frame. The retum
air is drawn into the lamp chamber around the lamp and
into the plenum via adjustable slots in the top of the
troffer housing.

Sylvania offers two distinctive Area Lighting Systems-
each based on economical standard components to re-
duce costs and to permit exlensive use for modernization
and new construction,

TITAN SERIES Sylta-Lwte

Combines Sylvania's shallow troffers with a specially de-
signed air difiuser provided byTitus Manufacturing Corp.
The Titan Series features a large luminous area pro-
vided by frameless shielding (in addition to framed
shielding), narow tdm and minimum metal surface.
The Titan's unique linear controller vanes (manufac-
tured by Titus and factory installed by Sylvania) permit
a 180' adiustable air pattern and complete flow rate con-
trol. The result is an amazingly versatile and easily
adjustable air control device.
Heat removal units feature luminous air intake slots
at each end of the door frame. Adjustable dampers are
provided in thc top of the housing of all heat remoyal
units.
Allows the creation of unique luminous ceiling design.
Provides the highest quality of diffused lighting. Can
effectively sound condition, Col.rpletely shields unsightly
service equipment.
Broad choice of plastic paneis (4 colors single or

application possibilities of this fixture line. You can take

A 150 Watt Incandescent, Outdoor, Decorative Lumin-
aire. A 75 Watt Mercury, Outdoor, Decorative
Luminaire furnished in a choice of clear or colored
anodized finishes. They include: Red, Yellow, Blue,
Green or White. The luminaire is available with or with-
out an integral photoelectric controller.
The PT-75 "Pathfinder" is the smart, modern, comple-
ment to landscaped walkways, parks, large cstates or
wherever the touch of distinctive lighting is desirable.

The Sylvania VF500, largest o{ the Post Top sedes, pro-
vides the soft attractive diffusion and excellent color
rendition of fluorescent lighting for large parks or gar-
den areas.
Four individual lamps positioned vertically and ar-
ranged radially around a central ballast core gives the
fixture remarkably even full-circle light distribution. The
finest noncorrosive materials are used throughout. Clean
uncluttered vertical lines and the proportional beauty of
the VF500.make it an ideal selection for lighting exte-
rior walkways and landscape surrounding contemporary
buildings.
