ACCP Clinical Pharmacy Challenge Competition Schedule
• Second year of competition September 6, 2011 Team Registration Deadline
• Team-based (3 students) competition. September 8, 2011 Online Round 1
• Preliminary rounds of the competition are conducted virtually (September)
• Semifinal and final rounds September 12, 2011 Online Round 2
– At ACCP Annual Meeting in Pittsburgh, PA, October 15-17, 2011.
• Each competition round will consist of questions offered in three distinct September 14, 2011 Online Round 3
segments indicated below.
– Trivia/Lightning September 16, 2011 Online Round 4
– Clinical Case
September 17, 2011 Quarterfinal Teams Announced
– Jeopardy-style
• Each team advancing to the semi-final rounds held at the ACCP Annual October 15-16, 2011 Quarterfinal and Semi-Final Rounds
Meeting will receive 3 complimentary student full meeting registrations and
each team member will receive a recognition certificate. at ACCP Annual Meeting, Pittsburgh,
– The second place team would receive a $750 cash award ($250 to each PA
member).
– The winning team would receive a $1500 cash award ($500 to each October 17, 2011 Final Round at ACCP Annual
member) and each team member would receive a plaque. Meeting, Pittsburgh, PA
