A Guide to the Scholarship Program for ASEAN Countries (M.S and Ph.D.) Recognizing the importance of internationalization, Chulalongkorn University has taken a leading role implementing interactive collaboration with the international community. In order to further develop academic cooperation between Thailand and its ASEAN Countries, the University has established a “Scholarship Program for ASEAN Countries” to provide academic assistance to international students from Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Brunei, and Vietnam to pursue their studies at Chulalongkorn University at graduate level. Term of Scholarshi Master's degree scholarship Two years (not over 2 years) Doctoral degree scholarship Three years (not over 3 years) Provisions of the Scholarships: The scholarships will cover the following: 1. Economy class round-trip ticket to and from designated capital cities or principal cities 2. Tuition and Fees (special fees by the program is excluded) 3. Stipend and accommodation in the amount of 16,000 baht/month. Conditions of Scholarships: 1. The scholarship period cannot be extended. 2. The recipients are not permitted to postpone a period of the scholarship acceptance as proposed by Chulalongkorn University 3. The recipients are not permitted to accept to any employment in Thailand during the term of their scholarships. Eligibility of Applicants: 1. Applicants must be an intemational graduated students from ASEAN Countries. Researcher, Academic staff or Faculty member who will return to teach/work at their home universities after graduation from Chulalongkom University is preferred. 2. Applicants must have completed Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree as appropriate in elated fields. 3. Applicants must have a grade point average for latest semester before applying of not Jower than 2.75 for undergraduate, and not lower than 3.25 for graduate, 4, Applicants’ age must be less than 35. 5. Applicants must have a good command of English. A minimum TOEFL score of 500 or 173 Computer-base or IELTS score of 5.0 is required. 6. Applicants must be in good health. 7. Applicants must not be recipients of other types of scholarships.red for Application: Completed application form with a 3 em X 4 om size photograph. Curriculum Vitae, Certificate of Graduation. Transcript of Academic Record of the last educational institution attended. Photocopy of passport. Two recommendation letters from the Head, the Director, the Dean which the applicant belongs. 7. Applicants must send the completed application form and relevant documents directly to The Petroleum and Petrochemical College (PPQ, Chulalongkorn University. ‘The applicants should send the document to PPC of choice before the scholarship deadline due to the application date and selection schedule of the applicants has set by each of the PPC 2. Applicants must be screened and accepted by PPC of their choice before being sent to the office of Academic Affairs, Chulalongkom University and the eligible application documents must arrive at Academic Affairs Office.
