1.0 Introduction

The punching machine is designed to perforate and punch small shaping

operation on sheet metal formats. With format we mean a rectangular shape
of sheet metal. The use of this type of machine is allows cutting the
preparation time and tooling changing time drastically.

The machine is designed to punch sheet metal plates of different material,

thickness and sizes within work area and within its cutting capacities.

4.0 Project CAD Drawing
Before starting creating the project, we need to sketch (draw) first project
design in CAD format. For this drawing, I choose ProEngineer software as a
sketching program. CAD drawing below shows us the design of this project.

 Drawing Without Dimension

 Drawing With Dimension
 Drawing With Constrain
5.0 Methodology
a. First, turn on compress air at backside of machine.
b. Please make sure compress air are in correct value.
c. Turn on punching machine.
d. Press start button at behind monitor. Ensure green light appear.
e. Move the machine coordinate to HOME position.
f. Clamp the work piece and identify the origin coordinate.
g. Create new program.
h. Insert new coordinate origin.
i. Key in the program.
j. Simulate the program. Ensure the graphic show correct shape.
k. If no problems appear, go to execute mode.
l. Before press start buttons, ensure federate in “0”value.
m. Press start buttons and wait until process complete.

8.0 Conclusion
At the last of this project, student will know and learn by theory and practical
about Tool End Programming for example S02, S71, S72, S73, S75, S80, S81,
and S68. From this project also we learn how to troubleshoot when got some
problem and when errors appear during key in the programming.
