SOURCES of NOISE POLLUTION

In a modern times, we still facing the issue and problem of pollutions including the noise
pollution. Due to arising of an urbanization area, population growth, increasing of human
activities and transportation systems (rail, air and road), the noise pollution become
unavoidable to the development.

There are many studies that has been conducted about this pollution. According to the
World Health Organization, the sound levels that less than 70 dB (Decibel) are not damaging
to living organisms, regardless of the consistency of exposure to the pollution itself.
Therefore, this issue are requires an urgent surveillance and awareness from the very
beginning of sources that created this kinds of pollution.

Mainly, the environment pollution can be classified into two major categories, which
is Natural sources and Anthropogenic sources. Then, Anthropogenic is the sources the
generated originally by human activities and it can be further classified into two types that is
Outdoor and Indoor sources.

Based on the Appendix 1, it shows about the level of sources of noise pollution that
begin from the softest sound until the danger level of noise. Hence, as the biggest contributor
of this problem, we needs to take an action to minimize the pollution that occurred now a day
for the future generations.
