I am pleased to write a recommendation for Mr. Abhilash Sreekumar, final year BE Hons.
Mechanical Engineering student of BITS Pilani, who is undergoing internship in Skoda Auto
India Pvt Ltd. Pune, under my supervision. His internship commenced on July 2014 for a period
of six months. Skoda Auto India Pvt Ltd is a multinational billion dollar company
manufacturing cars in India.

He played a main role in aiding in the development and upkeep of several Skoda Rapid Action
Models’ accessories and scheduling various tests and plans for procurement of parts before the
Start of Production (SoP). He was also into finalizing plans for localizing certain engine
components in Skoda Rapid automatic transmission models, including planning tests to be done
at Bosch Bangalore as well.

Abhilash Sreekumar is an enthusiastic, energetic and exceptionally well organised student. He

has always taken his role seriously and is passionate about his results. Beyond his passion on
driving performance, he is a natural leader. I know from discussions with colleagues in my
department that we all think that he is well trained, ambitious and capable of working entirely on
his own in a self directed manner. I would also like to note that he is consciously proactive at
getting full involvement of all other team members to derive the best results possible.

I am pleased that he is planning to enrol in graduate studies abroad starting Fall 2015. I have no
doubt that he has the skills and determination to successfully complete his Master’s degree in a
timely fashion. I also believe that he will seek to complete his PhD. He will be a dedicated
student and a competent professional.
