Sherri Turkle's "Identity Crisis" is an overview of the virtual world, but it actually has a

profound effect on people who use it. The author provides examples of things like MUD, which

can help people through problematic situations in reality and how they cause problems outside

the virtual reality.

Through the article, the author's focus on the next generation has made me feel that

virtual reality really changes our lives. By describing individual metaphors of happiness,

flexibility and permeability to help people adapt to the times, to create a healthy, physical and

spiritual society.

The Internet helps us to share and create ego instead of ourselves, helping us to

rediscover things we never knew about ourselves. Some people create their own ego on the

Internet by creating homepages, which is like creating their own world in order to express

themselves flexibly; as a way to control "self" to get rid of the problems in the real world. But

many people do not know that when they create something to help them relax or feel

comfortable, they may face other stressful, emotions that people can feel while engaging in a

virtual person: an uncomfortable sense of fragmentation, a sense of panic, a fear of discovering

something that they don’t want to know, and a fear of others in their personal life finding what

they have made in their virtual life. It is similar to the manifestations of people with personality

disorders, collectively known as MPD.

So, through the article that the author wants to show us that: virtual world can help us

relax or fun some but it also seriously changed our lives, whether it is good or bad, nerve-

wracking or relaxing, they really affect our lives. When we know our limits, we need to keep in

touch with real life, communicate more openly with the outside world, and maintain a stable,

flexible and permeable psyche. .We should not spend time on something that is not real, virtual

world can seriously help some people but can also cause disadvantages.

In short, the author's article is a valuable lesson and information that makes me realize

the benefits and disadvantages of the Internet, which is like a double-edged sword, which can

help us in many ways, but also detrimental to us, we need to realize that the virtual world is now

always connected to the real world, and nothing can change, but we must also Clear statements

are not bound by it, everything does not fit.

And through this chapter, after this time, instead of spending time with the Internet, for

the games of the virtual world, I will spend more time on family, friends and make a better life

out of society. . I like this article very much because of the useful information it brings and also

thanks to the author of the article.
