1. We are delighted that you have chosen to worship with

2017-1018 yearbook. We want to give you an
opportunity to sponsor the yearbook. We have 1/4th, ½

11. Ontario Conference Camp Meeting theme,
“IGNITE”– June 16, 2017 at The International Centre,
6900 Airport Rd, Mississauga, ON L4V 1E8
Children’s Ministries will be providing programs for
children who are 4 years and older. We will not be
providing snacks. Parents please provide food items no
nuts or nut butters.
12. The Golden Agers are inviting all who are age 55 and
over (and guests) for a walk in Springbank Park
Tuesday, June 19th. Please meet at the shelter across
from the Shoppers Drug Mart on Commissioners Rd.
at 11 AM. A potluck picnic lunch will follow the walk.
13. Vacation Bible School Xperience
Children four to twelve years of age are welcome to join
this year’s Vacation Bible School, “Miracles by the Sea.”
When: July 23-27
Where: London SDA Church
Volunteers needed: In order to make this event a
consisting of counselors and support staff. If you’re
interested in helping please contact Lucy Forsey at (519)

Volunteers are required to have a vulnerable sector
check. The sooner you let us know of your intentions to
help, the more time you will have to complete all the
requirements needed to be able to work with children.
14. ELEVATE MEN'S CONFERENCE NEW DATE- Aug 24-
25, 2018: Due to major conflicts with other ministries &
institutional events, we are rescheduling the Elevate
Mens Conference to August 24 & 25, 2018. This
initiative will take place at the Toronto Markham Marriott
 located at 170 Enterprise Blvd. in Markham. The early bird Sermon Notes
registration fee is $45/person and includes Friday
refreshments and a lunch buffet on Saturday
afternoon. Registration fee jumps to $55 after August 1st,

Is Alternate-day Fasting Beneficial? Alternate-day fasting
offered no advantage over reduced-calorie diets in weight loss
The obesity epidemic has spawned many novel approaches to
weight loss. One such increasingly popular approach today is
alternate-day fasting. A randomized clinical trial of 100 obese,
but healthy individuals, divided the participants into alternate-
day fasting, daily caloric restriction, and a control group. At the
end of one year weight loss in both treatment groups was
about 5%, while the control group had a slight weight gain.
