This letter of recommendation is written for Erin Lonsdale with much
pleasure. Erin has great potential to make a positive impact on those she
surrounds herself with. I have been extremely impressed by her coaching
abilities at Dover Bay Secondary School, as well as her teaching practicum in
Healthy Living 8. As a school teacher at Dover Bay, I have had the opportunity to
work closely with Erin while we coached the Jr Girls Soccer Team and while she
had a practicum teaching my grade 8s.
Erin displayed a strong level of confidence in adapting her methods of coaching
to younger grades. Her likeable personality, clear instruction, with strong
problem-solving skills was an asset to the team. She shows genuine interest in
her players which aids in engaging all members of the team.
In addition to her skills as a coach, Erin also demonstrated a high level of
professionalism. She showed professionalism in language and timeliness on a
consistent basis, which was especially important while coaching a junior
team. Erin is respectful to everyone she meets, which in turn has earned her the
respect from others.
Erin is a kind and responsible individual who is transferring her confidence as a
coach, into teaching. I give Erin my highest recommendation and would be
