Waterproofing Admixture for Concrete & Mortar

Product Description Chemrite WP-1 is a normal setting waterproofer, the action of
which is to block the capillaries and pores in concrete and
mortar.

Uses Chemrite WP-1 is used in conjunction with other water-
reducing admixtures to produce a dense concrete whose pores
are blocked making it impermeable. It is added in concrete or
mortar for retaining walls, swimming pools and other water-
retaining structures. It is suitable for use in drinking water tanks.

Application Details

Dosage 2.0 % by weight of cement.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Dispensing Chemrite WP-1 can be added directly to the mixing water prior
to its addition to the concrete mix.

Remarks Chemrite WP-1 is compatible with other admixtures, sulphate-
resistant cement and silica fume.

Safety Precautions Accidental splashes to the skin must be washed off with water
and soap. Accidental splashes to the eyes or mucous membrane
must be rinsed with clean warm water. Seek medical attention
without delay.
