INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES ORGANISATION (ICO)

RE: MANDATE LETTER FOR MI-YE

Management International for Young Entrepreneurs (MI-YE) is a project

outlined under KA2 Capacity Building in the field of Youth (Programme
Countries and in the Partner Countries from the Western Balkans ). MI-YE
includes mobility of young people and youth workers for a training course in
Albania for 8 days (including travel days).

ICO (International Communities Organisation) believes that once we increase the

incomes of young people, this will allow them to access health care, education, improved
housing and more varied diet. Young people will accordingly increase their self-esteem
and the status of their community. This is why ICO highlights the relationship between
business activities and human rights issues. Through MI-YE we want to spread this to
more places and more people. Business and CSO run by youth and for youth can
contribute the creation of innovative measures and implementation of current social
problems.

The workshops will be a chance to learn from experienced entrepreneurs running small
businesses and CSO activities in Western Balkans and in Europe, help new young people
to acquire new skills need to be their own boss by run their own small businesses or
organisations. They will have chance to learn from real life experiences, calculate the risks
and take measures before starting up their own business journey.

Young people would be amazed by their own ideas and entrepreneurship skills, once
they get a chance to included in the sectors that they are interested in. Therefore we will
assist them to answer their own hesitancies like “new ideas”, “risks”, “guidance”,
“explore European market”, “business knowledge” and “social responsibility”. We aim
to create cooperation between experienced entrepreneurs and fresh- entrepreneurs. Our
consortium wants to start up a collaboration among Western Balkans, and Europe . They
will get chance to ask questions and answer those questions together with experts and
their entrepreneurship team.

1
This youth mobility and training of youth workers will plant seed for young people to
set-up and run their own firm or organisation. This will be provided by introduced
different business models and marketing strategies i.e. social and/or traditional media.
They will also find a chance to think about social responsibility, the topics will cover
human rights and ecology.

Specific Objectives:
- develop international contacts
- get to know more about European and Western Balkan Market.
- Strengthen their leaderships skills
- Meet business people
- Explore cooperation opportunities
- Find innovative solutions within a multicultural environment
- Expand a business to another country
-Think Socially (Social responsibility of entrepreneurs, a link to human rights and
ecology)

How long this mobility will take place:

Participants will join an 8-day capacity building activity in summer 2017 (TBC), most
probably in June or July, but the International Communities Organisation holds the right
to change the time due to the bureaucratic and administrative processes in the
organisation and/or the Erasmus+ programme Education, Audiovisual and Culture
Executive Agency in Brussels).

Costs

Once the Erasmus+ Programme approves MI-YE’s application, and the consortium is
granted to a fund, this project will be financed by the Education, Audiovisual and
Culture Executive Agency. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation,
travel, training costs etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the
ICO involved in this project. Once our administration officers received participants
