3. Lose yourself - We lose ourself when our purpose and passion becomes bigger than us

Some people find themselves but they don't lose themselves

 Find yourself and make your purpose bigger than you and later on lose yourself

Mark 10:38-39

38 Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. 39 Whoever finds
their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.

I. How do we find ourselves?

1. Discover your purpose

 (Jeremiah 29:11) God has thoughts and plans for you. When you wake up this
morning, God is thinking of you...
 I just hope you figure it out.
 It is a blessing to know your purpose because you will find meaning in it.

Sometime people don't have their own dream

You may not have your own big dream for you -> Because it bigger than you, it is for others
Probably because God has someone for you to fulfill his dream for you
Ex. Jesus gives the fishermen a dream that they didn't happen to have
Teamwork makes the dream work
The reason why some people are great because someone supported their dream
and purpose

Give your purpose to something bigger than you

2. What am I passionate about?

 Passion is always linked with purpose

  What you love to do is often what you should do.
Mahilig ako magdesign kaya mapapansin na yun din ang ginagawa ko. Sa bahay, Sa
church, sa school, sa work
 Pero pag kinonect yung what I am in love with and what I should be doing. Yun
na.
Ex. Vape king
 Passion is the great energizer
Ex. Sidewalk Sunday School. Nakakapagod Paulit-ulit pero you know that you are made
for such things kaya gagawin mo siya kahit inconvenient. Mag-iisip ka ng mag-iisip.
Meron kang drive.
 It isn't reasonable or possible but you will do it anyway.
 Passion sets us apart from others
Nagshashine ka, Nalalaman ng tao. Mediocrity kasi ang nananaig sa mundo. With
passion you stand out.

Stand. Stand up. Stand out. Set the Standard. Become outstanding

3. What are my gifts?

 When you have a gift, God will give you the opportunity to use it.
 When you are in the area where you are strong, you are energized
 Once you find your gifts, you get the capacity to develop them: Good -> Better

When you are bigger than your purpose, you get a career
When your purpose is bigger than you, you have a calling

And that's when the 2nd point goes

Lose yourself

 Making a difference..
 Making a difference that makes a difference.. Something that lasts longs
 Making a difference that makes a difference to people who make a difference...
 Significance is when you add value to others, and that's the time you lose your
self

May mga na-influence akong estudyante. At least at some point you get to say to
yourself that someone has become a better version of themselves because of you. Kaya
din ako nagteacher
  You get to see that your calling is bigger than you. It's for a greater good. You get
to figure out the answers to your whys

 You find your why, you find your way

And we're talking about purpose, God's greatest purpose for you is to know him..
