SGGSIE&T established in 1981, is a reputed Govt. Aided Autonomous Institution of


Maharashtra. It offers 10 UG, 10 PG, and Ph. D. Programme(s) in all departments.

Institute invites applications for the purely Temporary Faculty positions (on tenure
basis with Ph. D. qualification) from eligible candidates to improve teaching (UG &
PG), Research and outreach activities at SGGSIE&T in following engineering
disciplines.

Application for Temporary Faculty Recruitment: On Tenure Basis


Important Instructions to the Candidates:

Qualification:
For faculty position (temporary-tenure basis) in Engineering Departments:
Ph. D. in appropriate engineering and technology discipline, UG and PG in relevant subject with
first class or equivalent either in UG or PG.
PhD is must as on last date of submission of application form.

Honorarium and Tenure:


Successful candidates will be offered consolidated pay of Rs.70,000/- per month based on the qualification,
experience and the recommendations of the selection committee.
The tenure shall be of 3 years subject to review and satisfactory performance after every 11 months. The
selected candidate shall be offered purely temporary TENURE basis appointment by the BoM of
SGGSIE&T, Nanded.
Age of the applicant must be below 55 years on the last date of submission of the application. The selected
candidates shall have to submit the affidavit and undertaking regarding no claim to regular faculty positions
in SGGSIE&T, Nanded as per the prescribed format on Rs.100/- stamp paper at the time of joining.

Other Instructions:
1. The application form filled in along with all necessary documents should be sent on e-mail:
faculty_t@sggs.ac.in before 18th June, 2018, 11.30pm. The candidate is required to mention

Reserved category candidates must attach caste validity certificate of competent authority along
with the application. VJ-A, NT-B, NT-C, NT-D, OBC(valid non-creamy layer certificate). Persons
with Disabilities (PWD) candidate must attach handicap certificate of competent authority with not
less than 40% disability.
2. The qualifications, professional experiences and achievements, documentary proof in the form
scanned copy have to be attached with e-mail. The originals must be produced for verification at
the time of interview. Mere fulfilment of minimum qualification and experience requirements do
not entitle the candidate to be called for an interview. A short listing criterion may be set higher
than the minimum. Presentation / Interview calls to shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the
institute website. The candidate has to attend written test / presentation / interview at his cost. No
TA / DA shall be paid admissible to the candidates.

3. If candidate desires to appear for more than one department, then indicate order of preference.
4. Any misleading or wrong information supplied may lead to summarily rejection of application/
appointment, if found subsequently. Canvassing in any form by or on behalf of a candidate will lead
to disqualification.

5. The institute reserves all the right to fill or not to fill the post(s) advertised.
