now accepts women and lay students. It publishes scholarly articles in its periodical, Antonianum,

The Franciscan Institute has a threefold focus in publication, academic studies and research. The
Franciscan Institute offers an academic program leading to a Master of Arts in Franciscan Studies,
a Certificate in Franciscan Formation, and a non-degree sabbatical program.

It also publishes three journals: The Cord, Franciscan Studies, and Greyfriars Review. Other works
are published as monographs in its Spirit and Life Series, Texts Series, Theology Series, etc.
