This SOP provides the guidelines for the implementation of Quality Assurance (QA) system for applying
the sampling plans indexed according to acceptable quality level (AQL) for lot-by-lot inspection It
establishes the management system and procedures based on ISO 2859 .

Method to read the table ,

Select the lot size , refer the lot size to General inspection levels 2 , General inspection level 2 is
considered normally , until and unless specified .

After selecting the lot size find the equivalent alphabet in general inspection level 2 column ,Now take the
alphabet identified and cross refer it to the table 2 and find the sample size , generally AQL of 2.5 is used
as it is the median column in the table , this signifies that the sampling is not biased to be strict or lenient.
