SUBJECT: Cab Control Group and Harness

MODELS AFFECTED: Model 411 Engine Brake on Cummins M11 Plus

The Model 411 Engine Brake hardware is applicable to both the Cummins M11 and Cummins
M11 Plus engines. Cummins M11 Plus engines are designated as M11 Plus 330 - 400 horsepower
(CPL 2037) and M11 Plus 280 - 330 horsepower (CPL 2036).
The Cummins M11 Plus engine is controlled by updated electronics, designated as CELECT Plus
electronic control module (ECM). This new ECM requires the use of Jacobs Cab Control Group,
P/N 021300, and Jacobs Wire Harness, P/N 020364. Jacobs Cab Control Group, P/N 021300,
contains the following parts: Plate, P/N 017193; Switch, P/N 021441; Dash Plate, P/N 001305;
Toggle Switch, P/N 019408; and Cable Tie, P/N 006833.
This group contains gold-plated contacts for optimum performance and reliability.The wiring
diagram for the M11 Plus Engine is shown below. M11 Engines (CPLs 1855, 1856, 1857, 1875,
1885, 1973) will continue to use the Cab Control Group, P/N 017002, and Harness, P/N 018687.
