Camera to

CFA members can’t see the flames, then they now have the
product to do so.
A Thermal Imaging Camera has been allocated to the Ballan
CFA as part of $70,000 allocated to local CFA brigades across
the Buninyong electorate.
Ballan fire brigade 1st Lietenant Billy Smith said the Thermal
Imaging Camera allows the crews to find hot spots and
ignition points when only smoke is present.
“After the fire is out we can use this equipment to find the
actual ignition point of where the fire started.

crews to find the hot spot, which may be electrical.”
