3.6.1 Analyzing thesocial function, sentence structure and language items expressing and asking
about the activity that happened in the past and referring the time happened by referring the
finishing of activity according to the centext and using it.

3.6.2 For this section : J explain the student about the real meaning of present tense and past
perfect tense.

 The present perfect tense means the form of a verb that expresses in action done in a time
period up to the present, that formed (in eanglish) with the present tense of have and the
past participle of the verb.

An example : They have eaten rice

 The past means the time that has gone by things that happened in earlier time.
 The past perfect tense (the plu perfect ) means the form of a verb that expresses an action
completed before a particular point in the past that formed with “had” and past participle.

4.7.1 Praticing

Using the sentence i the dialogue form to express and ask about the action / activity that
happened in the past and refer to the time happened by referring the context and using it.

 Student A : Did you finish your home work yesterday when the teacher check it ?
 Student B : Yes. I had already finished it before the teacher checked it.
