SUBJECT: Letter of Resignation

1. Investigation has disclosed that I am an unprofessional Administrator.

2. I have hereby resigned. My conduct is unacceptable and to avoid future misconduct, I have
removed myself from the administration team.

3. The following information required by the Privacy Act is provided for your information.
AUTHORITY: 10 U.S.C. 8013. PURPOSE: To obtain any comments or documents players
desire to submit (on a voluntary basis) for consideration concerning this action. ROUTINE
USES: Provides players an opportunity to submit comments or documents for consideration. If
provided, the comments and documents players submit become a part of the action.
DISCLOSURE: The server’s written acknowledgment of receipt and signature are mandatory.
Any other comment or document players provide is voluntary.

4. When I joined the staff, American hours were notoriously understaffed. Oftentimes, there was no
admin, and the players would have to deal with shitlords and griefers acting with impunity. It was
one particular round where a captain executed myself and 15 others without killing a single
Syndicate that I decided to apply.

Being accepted onto the team was one of the greatest feelings. I remember checking my application
into the hours of the morning and upon hearing of my acceptance, not being able to sleep. I had been
written off as an irredeemable shitler on other servers, being given the chance to do my best to
improve the experience of players and build a team, I was ecstatic. When I joined however, the staff
was miserable, stagnant, and hostile. There was little focus on building forward organizational
momentum, of growing the team.

I fought and screamed and argued and reasoned with all that would listen. I drove some away, I
raised the spirits of others. Now, players that were written off are now backbones of the team, and
they’ve made me disgustingly proud. The timezone I play on is now handled. My mission is done. In
the meantime, I’ve lost touch with where I came from. Returning to that would serve both myself and
the players well.

It is with tears in my eyes that I write that I am immensely grateful for every moment each of you
have allowed me to spend with you in this role. Every bit of it has made me so fucking happy.
