Drive and Control Division
Bosch first started its operations in Vietnam in 1994. Bosch
Vietnam’s headquarters is in Ho Chi Minh City and is legally
registered in Dong Nai province. Bosch Vietnam also has two
other branch offices in Hanoi and Danang. Since 2008, Bosch
Vietnam has invested into the Gasoline Systems plant in Long
Thanh Industrial Zone, Dong Nai. It is the first high-tech
production plant for continuously variable transmissions (CVT)
pushbelts in ASEAN. Bosch inaugurated the Software and
Engineering R&D Center, Robert Bosch Engineering and Business
Solutions Vietnam Co., Ltd. in 2011, and since then has
employed around 850 engineers. In 2013, Bosch established a
Technical Industrial Apprenticeship (TGA) training center in Dong
Nai. The dual education program is developed based on German
vocational training standards with an initial investment of 1
million USD (760,000 EUR). In 2014, Bosch established the
Automotive R&D center in Ho Chi Minh City.

divisions: Automotive Aftermarket, Drive and Control Technology,
Packaging Technology, Power Tools, Security Systems and
Thermotechnology.

Main tasks

 Meet regular sales & profit targets.

 Search and identify potential customers; plan and carry out
regular visits to existing and new customers nationwide to
strengthen relationships and identify new business
opportunities for services.
 Record and maintain customer data.
 Field Service
o Commission in related application.
 o Provide onsite technical support, troubleshooting
and repair.
 Repair
o In-house repairs (carrying out fault finding,
diagnostics, repairs and testing on Rexroth
hydraulics components and systems).
o On-Site repairs.
o Prepare Inspection Report with suggested possible
root.
 Warranty Claim Handling
o Handle and process complaints/ warranty claim
(investigating, processing, advising); support
warranty decision.
 Technical assistance
o Provide customers with technical assistance;
operational and maintenance training about Rexroth
hydraulic components.
o Coordinate Repairs and Field Service activities with
Headquarter Service Centre and/or with regional
service centres.
o Work closely with project sales team in the design of
custom-made solutions, system upgrading.

Job requirements

 Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.

 At least 3-5 years of service working experience of
hydraulic systems on heavy machinery.
 Fluency in both spoken and written English.
 Proficiency in engineering and designing software tools, e.g.
AutoCAD.
 Good communication, organization and analytical sales
skils.
 Able to work independently and with high level of discipline.
 Strong sense of integrity and compliance culture.
 Willingness to travel with short notice around Vietnam and
work at customer sites.
